PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION DAY IS NOVEMBER 3, 2020:
In person, voting will take place at;
District #1 G.H. Robertson School /District #2 Coventry High School
From 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. for those wishing to vote at the polls.
For those wishing to vote by Absentee Ballot: The Secretary of the State has informed us that every registered voter will be receiving an absentee ballot application in the mail, along with a return envelope. The applications are expected to be sent out in mid-September. If you wish to vote by absentee, make sure to get the completed, signed and dated application to us as soon as possible, since it is our office that will be issuing you the ballot. We encourage you to use the drop box at the back vestibule or the Ballot Box for the return of the applications and ballots. Please be patient since we expect a large number of requests and are a small staff.
Absentee Ballots become available and will be mailed starting October 2, 2020. By getting your application to us ASAP, it will help us to get them prepared and mailed out to you in a timely manner.
The town clerk serves the Coventry community under the guidance of General Statutes of the State of Connecticut. The clerk is responsible for:
