Mission Statement

The Coventry Housing Authority provides decent, safe and sanitary low-income housing for seniors and disabled. The Housing Authority strives to maintain partnerships with their clients and the appropriate community agencies to help maintain independent and affordable living.

About the Housing Authority

The Housing Authority currently administers a total of 80 apartments on its 20-acre site at 1630 Main Street. Of these 80 apartments, 40 are Project Based Section 8 HUD funded (Orchard Hill Estates I) and 40 are State Elderly (Orchard Hill Estates II). Each facility has 4 accessible units. These units are all one level with front and back doors leading to well-maintained grounds.

Laurie Bradley, Executive Director, has been working for the Housing Authority since 1996.

Sharon Boisvert, Resident Service Coordinator, has been working for the Housing Authority since 2016.

Monthly board meetings are held at Orchard Hill Estates I on the second Tuesday of each month. Agendas are posted in the Town Clerk's office of the Town Hall.

NOTE: HUD HOUSING WAIT LIST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT THIS TIME.
