Facemasks Required in Town Buildings Effective 8/4/21

Facemasks required in Town buildings

Per State, Health District  and CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, public buildings at the Town of Coventry will return to requiring facemasks indoors, effective Wednesday August 4, 2021.
Town Hall remains open to the public, but if conditions worsen we may have to revert to offering services by appointment only. Please cooperate with our request to wear a facemask when you visit so that we can continue to operate as normally as possible during this resurgence of the pandemic.
While vaccinations did both reduce the spread and severity, we did not reach the level required to stop the virus and therefore its mutations.  If you remain unvaccinated, please reconsider and confer with your physician for advice.  Even if you had COVID, it is now recommended that you be vaccinated.  The next COVID variant may be worse than the current Delta strain.  We must act NOW to slow this infection wave.
See specific guidelines from the CDC at the link below.  Note that Coventry is now in an area of substantial transmission.
