There are five members each serving two year terms. Three terms expire in odd years, and two terms expire in even years.

Board Duties
The purpose of this board is to:
  • Annually review all insurance needs for the town
  • Recommend the inclusion or exclusion of town properties and or/personnel in insurance policies
  • Communicate with insurance companies or agents on behalf of the town
  • Prepare insurance bid specifications upon the request of the town manager or the Board of Education
  • Review all town insurance policies annually
